The Metrowest Interfaith Community

Dear valued attendees,

We extend our deepest appreciation to all, especially spiritual leaders of the four major religions, who graced us with your presence at the "An Interfaith Iftar" event hosted by The Metrowest Interfaith Community in collaboration with the Peace Islands Institute Boston. We are truly grateful for your unwavering support and contribution. Thank you for being part of this meaningful occasion and for your continued commitment to promoting interfaith harmony and understanding.

The event commenced at 6:30 pm in Fatima Shrine Hall, where attendees were introduced to the organizers and sponsors.

Around the time of sunset, when the breaking of the fast was permissible, prayers were conducted with the Muslim guests, while others were invited to pray from their respective traditions in silence.

Following the prayers, food was served, providing an opportunity for attendees to engage in conversation and reflection. A Muslim calligrapher was present, adding a special touch to the event with a demonstration of Islamic calligraphy.

Overall, the event provided a platform for participants to come together in solidarity, fostering connections and hope across different faiths.
